Unless you’re a qualified plumber, and have some knowledge of electrics, installing a dishwasher is a difficult process. Our dishwasher installation team will unbox your new appliance and inspect the location where you wish it to be installed. Usually this should be against an exterior wall, close to an electrical socket, and within reach of the mains water supply and a waste water pipe.

We’ll check any existing electrical and plumbing connections to make sure they are compatible with the new dishwasher, and in good repair. We turn off the water stopcock and the mains power supply while we carry out the installation.

After we’ve hooked up all the water, waste and electrical connections we’ll turn the water and power back on and give your new dishwasher a thorough test, running through a wash cycle and checking for leaks.

It shouldn’t take longer than an hour or so to install your new dishwasher (as long as there are no structural changes or alterations required). Fitting a built-in dishwasher might take longer because we’ll have to deal with door fixings.
