Installing a new integrated fridge, freezer or fridge-freezer combination into your kitchen or pantry is a specialised and complex task, best performed by experienced professionals like the appliance installation team at North West Appliance Solutions.
We fit new integrated fridge-freezers in homes across Manchester, Liverpool, Merseyside and the surrounding area, offering a same or next-day service. The sooner you book your new fridge-freezer installation, the quicker you’ll be chilling out.
Kitchen design trends are moving ever more enthusiastically towards the minimalist look, with appliances discreetly hidden behind the kitchen cabinetry.
This is certainly a look that works well when it comes to bulky fridge-freezers. An integrated (built in) fridge-freezer is not only aesthetically pleasing but also saves space, because the area above and around the fridge-freezer can be utilised for additional cabinet storage.
You may well be put off the idea of having an integrated fridge-freezer because installing it in your kitchen may seem to be a daunting prospect – and repairs and maintenance may prove difficult because of access problems.
You can rest assured that our professional appliance installers at North West Appliance Solutions make fitting an integrated fridge-freezer as easy as A-B-C – and we’ve got fully trained, qualified repair engineers who are ready, willing and able to take care of any problems down the line.
We install fridge-freezers and other home appliances across the Manchester and Liverpool metropolitan areas, Merseyside and Cheshire, including Warrington, Bolton, Rochdale, Oldham, Stockport, and Wigan.
Integrated fridge-freezers come in a variety of sizes and styles from different brand names.
Whether you choose an integrated cold storage appliance that comes in a ratio of 70% fridge to 30% freezer, 50%-50% or a compact under-counter model we’ll be able to install it expertly so that it fits seamlessly into your kitchen design, no matter what make or model it is.
Installing an integrated fridge-freezer is a physically demanding job that also requires electrical know-how, familiarity with plumbing (if your fridge-freezer needs to have a water dispenser hooked up) and the skill to attach the new appliance to the existing cupboard door.
Our engineers are experienced and well-equipped for the job, able to carry out a fridge-freezer installation quickly and efficiently with no fuss or bother, leaving behind no mess. We’ll do it all, from unpacking your new fridge-freezer to hardwiring it (if it is not of the plug-in variety), making sure it is level and ensuring that the door mechanism (hinged or sliding) is properly attached and working correctly with the outer cupboard door.
Whether you are replacing a defunct fridge-freezer with a new one or installing a new integrated fridge-freezer into a new or remodelled kitchen, we’ll be happy to help.
We'll provide you with a fully qualified, DBS vetted engineer to your local area.
Need your appliance fixed the same day? We offer a same day service to our customers.
No extra charges for call-out, labour or parts on the Repair & Care plan.
One thing that many people don’t realise is that it is possible to reverse the opening action of most fridge doors from right to left.
This is part of the installation service we are able to offer for integrated fridge-freezers – handy if you need your appliance to fit into a specific space and match up with the direction in which the kitchen cabinet doors open.
Most fridges open left to right to suit right-handed people, but for convenience sake you may prefer a right to left opening fridge-freezer. Door reversal for integrated fridge-freezers is usually explained in the product manual and involves repositioning the hinges and handles.
When we install your new integrated fridge-freezer we won’t turn it on straight away because the compressor oil needs time to settle, particularly if it has been in storage or in transit for some time. It’s best to leave it for up to four hours before switching it on, and probably even longer before you load any produce into it. The owner’s handbook will give you advice on how soon to start using your fridge-freezer after installation.
To make sure you get many years of service out of your new integrated fridge-freezer, keep it clean and well-maintained. Call us if you have any problems with your fridge-freezer or any other home appliance.
